未来的学生
Upon completing an application for admission, the Office of 本科 Admissions provides students with their applicant credentials for use with 学术中心. 学生 will have access to this 门户网站 before an offer of admission. For maximum scholarship consideration, prospective students must submit the 一般 Scholarship Application by January 22. In addition to the 一般 Scholarship Application, a Free Application for Federal Student 援助 (FAFSA) must also be on file with the Virginia Tech Office of University 奖学金 和 Financial 援助 by the January 22 deadline. This means that you must include Virginia Tech's school code (003754) on the FAFSA for scholarship consideration. As new admission cycles begin in the Fall, prospective students will have time to complete both applications.

当前的 students may complete the 一般 Scholarship Application every year. 当前的 students must apply by January 22 for each subsequent year. 例如, a freshman student may submit the application in the Fall semester for their sophomore year. 学生 wishing to be considered in the 一般 Scholarship Application pool must also have a FAFSA on file by the January 22 deadline.
学生 with renewable 奖学金 will receive their renewed financial aid offers in June. Renewable 奖学金 require the respective year's FAFSA to be filed by the priority deadline of March 1st. If a student wishes to maintain scholarship renewal 和 be considered for the 一般 Scholarship Application, the January 22nd deadline takes precedence.

Please complete any necessary items to avoid delays in the disbursement of your scholarship. Required items such as thank you letters can be viewed by checking the “My Applications” tab after logging into 学术中心. If requested, you must also submit FAFSA Verification documentation before disbursement.

To receive your USFA-Administered Scholarship(s), you have to acknowledge that you agree to certain terms related to scholarship eligibility. You will accept your scholarship 和 agree to the Term 和 Conditions in HokieSPA. Find additional information on our 奖学金 条款与条件 page.
The 一般 Scholarship Application is located on 学术中心 和 may be accessed using the link above. The FAFSA 和 一般 Scholarship Application must be completed by January 22nd for the following year's general 奖学金. Please be sure to reference the 学术中心 Users Guide 为指导.
学生 must report any outside, non-VT related 奖学金, 奖助金, loans or other third-party program sending 基金 to Virginia Tech or directly to the student. 外部资源包括, 但不受限制, to high schools 和 community, 公民, 和 professional associations.
