Rock-Sat-X rocket launches at NASA Wallops Flight Facility

AOE undergraduate students embark upon a rigorous course of study and re搜索, which grounds them in the fundamentals of aerospace and ocean engineering while launching them into aeronautics, 航天, and hydronautics careers.

Student re搜索ers engage in fundamental and applied plasma physics experiments using AOE’s state-of-the-art facilities, including the plasma vacuum chamber.

研究生 studies in aerospace and ocean engineering allow students to immerse themselves in an area of re搜索, hone their design and analysis skills, 探索应用程序, and make an impact on the field and on society.

Flow visualization in the Virginia Tech 稳定风洞—one of the nation’s largest university-operated wind tunnels with maximum speeds of 80 meters per second. The Stability Tunnel is a leading re搜索 facility for aeroacoustics and aerodynamics.
